Rebecca Kennedy

Rebecca is an oil and gas attorney at EQT Production Company. Rebecca graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of law in 2015 and from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012 with a degree in political science and legal studies. She currently serves on the board for the Pittsburgh chapter for the American Association of Blacks in Energy and the Young Lawyers Committee for the Energy Mineral Law Foundation.

Daniel Schaffer

Daniel was born and raised in Lancaster, PA and attended Juniata College, earning a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. While at Juniata, he served on the Student Government as Policy Chair for two years, studied abroad in Marburg, Germany during his junior year, worked as a Study Abroad Peer Advisor in the International Office, worked as the Content Coordinator for The New Juniatian newspaper, and was one of three Senior Residential Assistants during his senior year. After college, he completed a year of service through the Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience (PULSE), serving at the Hill Community Development Corporation. In December of 2018, he began a freelance grant writing and consulting business that primarily serves start-up Minority/Women-based Enterprises (M/WBEs) in the Pittsburgh area.

Melissa Stranko

Melissa was born and raised in the greater Pittsburgh area - leaving briefly to study Communications Media and Graphic Design at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. As a collegiate member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, she developed a strong connection to service that has extended into her personal & professional life as an Alumna. After graduating in 2012, Melissa began working with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online where she participated in various service-oriented groups within the organization. In addition, she is currently studying a Master’s of Science in Cyber Security and Information Assurance at Robert Morris University. Working with various non-profits and community organizations during her college and professional career has motivated her to continue to give back when possible.

Karlie is a native Pittsburgher. She has led a varied life as a mechanical engineer, product manager, cashier, and garage attendant. With degrees in both engineering and business she has been exposed to international business as well. Today she is a web developer for a local health care firm. She has been active in her local religious community, and is involved with several community organizations.
